# Why do providers receive an email if I'm a Group practice admin?

Once you’ve entered a provider’s information, they’ll receive an email inviting them to activate their account by creating a login and password.

Don’t worry — **they’re not required to enter any additional information**. As the Group Practice Administrator, you manage the profile setup. The email simply gives the provider access to view their profile or make updates if needed.
