# How to add referral list notes?

This referral list notes feature allows you to write notes to the patient so they’re aware of specific information regarding the provider. 

For example: “Call this provider first, they live closest to your residence hall.”

**Step 1: **Navigating to the __Referral list__ page 
To navigate to this page:
* Click on your profile to open the drop-down menu
* Click **Referral list**


**Step 2: **Adding a note
To add a note:
* Click **Add note**
* Type your desired note in the text box 
* Click **Add note** in the pop-up to confirm your note

Your note will now appear right below the provider’s information.
