# How can I add Excel using a Macbook device if I don’t have Excel on it?

If you're using a Mac and don’t have Microsoft Excel, no worries—you can use **Numbers** to export your file in Excel (XLSX) format, which is required for uploading to MiResource.
#### **To export a Numbers file to Excel:**
**Step 1: **Open your document in **Numbers**
**Step 2: **Click **Share** in the top menu

**Step 3: **Select **Export and Send…**

**Step 4: **In the pop-up window, click **Excel**,** **then **Save**

Your file will now be saved as an .xlsx (Excel) file, ready for upload.
